Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 16, 2026

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email, organization name
  • Cloud provider credentials (AES-256 encrypted at rest, decrypted only in-memory per request)
  • Usage analytics (anonymized, no PII)
  • Log and telemetry data for security, debugging, and reliability
  • Billing information, processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • To ensure platform security and compliance
  • To send important product, security, and billing updates
  • To support you when you contact us
  • To generate AI-assisted recommendations (architecture, cost, security) using Anthropic Claude via AWS Bedrock — your cloud resource metadata may be sent to this model to produce a response, but is not used to train third-party models

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with trusted sub-processors necessary to operate the service (cloud hosting, AI inference, email delivery, analytics, payment processing), each bound by a data processing agreement. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CloudOps AI, our customers, or the public.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or security-audit purposes. Encrypted cloud credentials are permanently deleted immediately upon disconnecting a credential.

5. Your Rights

  • Access or update your personal data at any time from your account settings
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of non-essential communications
  • Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), request restriction of processing or object to certain uses of your data

6. International Transfers

Our infrastructure runs on AWS. Data may be processed in regions outside your own; where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for cross-border transfers.
